I'm a PhD student specializing in infectious disease ecology (don't worry - I don't bring my work home with me). I live with my fiance and our two knotty kats Deej (his) and Laz (mine).
I've been crafty my entire life, beginning with original clothing designs for my dolls as a kid. Today I mostly crochet (which I started at the ripe old age of 12), with a dash of beading, macrame, and sewing thrown in for fun.
